I was curious and searched by the OP's description and got this. :)

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/krispy-kreme-donut-orde...

For background, this guy is starting a personal growth project of learning how to deal with his fear of rejection by making odd requests with the expectation of having them all rejected. He is videotaping all of his daily attempts. This particular Krispy Kreme request floored him in a wonderful way despite failing, or meaning the person accepted his request. The Krispy Kreme employee who took up the challenge is now getting a ton of public praise and kudos.

If interested in following this man's journey to overcome his fear of rejection, his blog: http://www.entresting.com/blog/100-days-of-rejection-therapy...

Also he is asking for requests for ideas for further rejection and "I will do it if it is 1. crazy 2. dignified 3. legal/moral" so give it a thought! :)
