Anyone have any info about Transcrypt International? I did a PEG on them with a 10 PE, trailing earnings of $0.08 (12/31/96), estimated earnings of $0.82 for '98 and it came to 0.04 (7 quarters to '98 earnings). The price is in the $7-8 range. Revenue increased 62.4% and earnings were up 700%. The projected growth rate is 50%. The symbol is TRII. Would appreciate any info anyone can give.>>Jeff, Have you checked to see if the company showed a profitin each of the last 4 quarters? If they haven't, and oneof those quarters was a loss, the PEG calculation can beunreliable in my opinion. In any event, whenever you geta PEG that low, you should question some of the assumptionsthat go into the calculation. Tom>>
