Once in my past we were given the phone number that a concrete company used to have. The business had moved to the next neighborhood and had to relinquish the number. Lucky us....After the first 30 calls I looked up the company's new number and told the secretary what was going on. Nothing happened. I called again a few days later.... still the calls for concrete kept coming in....So finally I called them and told them I was going to start taking concrete orders. Within a few minutes the owner of the company called and pleaded with me. Apparently they had the old number plastered on trucks and signs at construction sites, etc. he said he would remove all the numbers but give him 24 hours. The number of calls dropped to near zero within a few days. Not urban legend.--whyohwhyoh
