One more call from NRA and I'm going to cancel my membership, it's not worth the aggravation. When I said I wanted no sales or mail solicitation, I meant it.

Meh, I'm pretty immune to that at this point. I'm still getting massive junk-mail/solicitations from my days as a student at UofM (and I graduated over a decade ago). I'm on so many lists that 90% of the mail I get goes right into the recycle bin. The NRA really didn't increase it all that much for me. I'm a life member anyway, so I'm going to be getting the solicitations for life, lol!

Plus I have other memberships that send me a bunch of stuff. I'm a life member of the North American Fishing Club, a member of BASS, was a member of the UofM Alumni Association (still get a bunch of stuff from that), I get stuff from my credit union, from my student days, now for stuff my kid's involved in... the latter is pretty surprising. We live near the Ann Arbor Jewish Community Center, so we sent our son to their day camp last year (we're not Jewish but they didn't care as long as we send kosher food for lunch). I get a LOT of Jewish-related mail now, so much you'd think I was a member of the tribe! I just recycle it. Oh, and we gave money in the name of a tragically deceased nephew to Concordia University here in Ann Arbor, I get a ton of mail from them too.

Oddly enough I don't get too many calls. My cellphone goes days without ringing (no home phone so it's the only way to call me). Not sure why, but whatever.
