One thing jumps out at me from this analysis. I may be reading too much between the lines, but I'm concerned about the reason that SAP pulled out of its partenership with CMRC. If SAP is going to develop its own procurement software, then it may not matter that ARBA looks more financially viable than CMRC - the competition won't be from CMRC, it'll be from SAP...or Oracle, or PeopleSoft...which are all more financially viable than ARBA because of a more diversified product base.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?
