There's a movement afoot to end online anonymity in an effort to control cyber bullying of kids. What do you think?

I'm OK with having to register for social media like TMF with my real name, so it's only visible to admins, but I wouldn't want my real name exposed to all when I post. I've posted info about my life, health, wealth, relatives & friends, and employers that I wouldn't have if my real name were publicly attached. If other people did the same, we wouldn't learn as much. I don't use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and such like, so I don't know how I'd feel about lack of anonymity there.
