Does anyone know of a decent online bank that offers reasonable CD rates? Preferably a brick and mortar bank with web capabilities. I have heard that some of the web-only banks are slow to return your money, etc. Hence, I feel more comfortable with brick and mortar.

Currently I deal with brick and motor banks, but usually you have to visit them or mail-in your passbook to renew a CD. Both ways are inconvenient. Sometimes to get a decent interest rate you have to change banks. This requires two visits which is really a pain.

It would be nice to be able to renew CD's, transfer money between banks, etc. via the web.

Anybody doing this? Any recommendations?

Don
