Only tangentially related, but I'm reading a book about photographing things for ebay and etsy. I'm utter rubbish at taking photographs, and the book's been helpful in some ways I didn't expect. The copy I have is from my public library, so if she wanted to look at it, hopefully her library would have it too. It's Photographing arts, crafts & collectibles : take great digital photos for portfolios, documentation, or selling on the web by Steve Meltzer.I'm sure there are other books out there as well that focus on the display and marketing of your crafts for online. I know there are tons of blogs and communities that talk about selling crafts; one entry I read talked about the number of posts on various social media sites and blogs the author made for each item listed (hint, it was a ton).
