A little off topic, but could not find a better board to post it on. Also not ready to get involved with new people yet, I know a lot of the people here.

Where is everyone stashing their savings money. Not Efund money, but cash beyond efund that you may need some access to at a later date - short term 1-3 years. I was looking at some dividend paying stocks, NLY, HYI etc. Looking to put the money somewhere it can beat .9% in savings and 2.xx% in bonds, but not in a super high risk investment. Dont need immediate access to the money, so it does not have to be liquid. Might use it down the road to purchase something, a vacation, whatever. Last year I put a few grand in Ibonds at 4.66%, wasn't bad, but now they are 2%, ick!
