Hello Friends,

I received the email reprinted below from Cor's daughter. I thought it would be appropriate to reprint it here for his Rambus friends to be informed. Maybe we could take up a collection and send some flowers to his beside.

Hard to believe ....... Cor is tall and skinny, with just a bit of a paunch on him. Infectious smile and looks something along the lines of Gene Wilder. And he was only in his early 60's. I had the pleasure of hanging out with him for an entire day in Amsterdam.

IWhen I find out more I will let you know.

Even though Cor was an athiest, he had a heart of gold. Maybe Ramp could make a special prayer for him.

God Bless to all,
Craig

Dear Craig,

I am Cor's daughter, Ellen, and send you this message from Cor's computer.

Cor has been hospitalized Friday 2nd last because he has had a heart
attack.
In the afternoon there appeared to be no more brain activity
(whatsoever) and since then
he is on artificial breathing and his heart is being artificially
activated.

I realize this comes as a total shock. I cannot find any other way of
informing you.

We cannot say how long this will take, it may take one day, it may even
take weeks, but
what is certain is that were waiting now until he passes away.

At this moment my dad's children are with Brigitte as are Jan-Haye and
Tonny, friends
of dad and Brig. Perhaps it is more convenient to send any reply to this
mail to my address
dobs.ellen@planet.nl. At this computer many things have to be sorted out.

With kind regards,
Ellen van Dobben de Bruyn
