After this morning's adventures, it's nice to see some helpful customer service!
I moved a month ago, and ever since then, whenever I've talked to anyone on my cell phone, they've told me that they hear a buzzing whenever I say anything. At first I thought that it was my apartment, but it happens no matter where I am.
I called T-Mobile, just to see how long I have to be a customer before I'm eligible for a discount on a phone upgrade. 11 months, so I've got about 3 more months.
I offhandedly (is that a word? LOL) mentioned that I was having some problems, and the CSR said "well, let me pull up your account, and we'll see if the warranty is still in effect."
Sure enough, I am still under the 1-year warranty, so they're sending a replacement phone this week.
When I first got the phone in January, I had it warranty replaced 2 times. First, I could get no service in my apartment, so they sent me a replacement. The replacement was even worse than the first phone! So they sent a replacement replacement, and everything was hunky dorey.
So now hopefully I'll have a phone that doesn't buzz and I will lose the urge to buy a new one in December!
