Our house was converted to gas in the 80's...fairly simple process really. I would recommend roughing in gas to all appliances that could potentially use it...water heater, dryer, stove, oven, furnace, etc. At a minimum, make sure your meter and main piping is sized for these future loads. Thanks everyone. We'll want to convert as much as we can to gas, even if we don't do it right away. We'll make sure our main is sized accordingly, and rough in whatever piping we can. Thanks
