I looked around the boards and could not find one that was talking about this topic. If you guys know a message board that can help me with my topic, then show mw the way! lol

Im invested in an R&D company they have no income but VC funding and a burn rate of about $300,000 a month. They were high as $15 back in 2000 and had a steady drop like the rest of the market in 2001. The share price holds steady at $. 50 now and has slow spikes up about $1.80 and below about $. 40 since it settled back in 2001. They sell 144 shares at a discount to raise funding and some of the employees and BOD have been taking their pay as 144 shares. The Outstanding share count was at 24 mill back in 2000 and the share price was at $15. Today the Out Standing share count is at 50 mill and the share price is at $. 51.
Since the Outstanding shares were at 24 mill the share price would drop when a good PR came out and the share price would go up if there was no news or rumors. The trend I noticed through the years, when a PR came out, share price drop, higher Out Standing share count and share holders blaming it all on the MMs.

Is there a possibility that the Company could be swapping shares to raise funding?
Could they wait for the restriction to come off the 144 shares, sell them at market, and share price stayed steady when there was a buy?

Out Standing share count is about 50 mill
Float is about 20 mill

Thank you for your time
any comments or ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thank again,

Looking 8-)
