Hi,

I am a lurker over at LBYM, (still over a month behind in reading my posts over there:).

I have gotten myself into a huge mess trying to paint my house. I started scrapping over a month ago, and it doesn't seem like I'm getting anywhere. (I'm scrapping right down to the wood, replacing rotton wood and rusty nails, etc.) I didn't think it would be this hard. My question is can I scrap, wash, then prime the house, and next year wash it down and paint it the color I want? I live in New England, so I would be going through winter with just primer. I have a 2 story federal type house.

The job has become overwhelming for me, and I get discouraged everytime I come in and out of the house and see this awful mess on my front lawn (staging, plastic, wood, etc.)

Thanks
Jane
