Yesterday SmartEnergy, an alternative energy service provider announced along with officials of WPS Resources Corporation , a business relationship where WPSR has invested in SmartEnergy.

Both companies see the opportunity as a significant step in combining the best of the traditional energy companies with the best of the new entrants in the rapidly evolving energy industry.
