Something new from Disney in the mail yesterday. They are now allowing passholders (or was it Disney Club members, I'll check when I'm back home) the ability to save up to 30% at rooms for their friends and families too. The stipulation is that you have to be there when they check in. Unless I missed something this is the first time Disney has ever created this kind of perk transfer. Sure, they often had deals where those with you were given certain discounts, but never lodging deals where you didn't have to accompany them (well, save for the check-in).But, while we're on the subject of codes, it came with a disclaimer I hadn't seen before -- that if at check-in all isn't in order the guests will be charged the regular rates. I'm not sure if that's Disney starting to crack down on certain discount codes (since they've never asked to see my MKC, Disney Club, passes, etc. at check in) or if it's just there as another gray area.
