To all those wiser then I, this fellow can use some help. Just got divorced and will recieve a 60,000 payout from the ex-spouse from her buying me out of the house. What are the tax consequences of such an event? Any ideas? How can I limit the amount of taxes that I might have to pay "Uncle Sam"? Could use your help. Much appreciated. Tom
