Dad died at 2:00 this morning, peacefully, without anguish, and at home. I had been home from visiting him about 30 minutes when I got the call.

I'm thankful that he went so quickly. He hasn't been happy in the 11 months since Mom died; all he wanted was to be with her. He got his wish, and on his terms.

I'm also grateful for the prayers and support of you all. It means more to me than I can express.
