Right now, I am in Hong Kong. I just posted this on RB about riding the Peak Tram:The Peak Tram....Wow is right!!! The angle of that tram going up is pretty wild....I estimated it was 30% and I was close....Here it says the steepest angle is 27 degrees:"To reach Victoria Peak, you can take the Peak Tram. It was put into service in 1888. Its steepest point has an angle of 27 degree which definitely can give you an unforgettable experience."http://www.chinahighlights.com/hong-kong/attraction/victoria...Here is The Peak tram.....a must see. This thing is a intense ride especially as you get near the top and your ears begin to pop as you go higher than Hong Kong's tallest buildings:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_f1L1RrfWs&feature=relat...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLGeI-70HRQ&feature=relat...I think that might be one of the better attractions worldwide....Right up there with Sugarloaf http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugarloaf_Mountain_(Brazil)The view is amazing at the top of Victoria's Peak.....especially at night:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HordL22HdNQhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQbqMJxgd7cStarrob
I'm very envious of you right now. That looks awfully fun. :-) Are you just hanging around Hong Kong or will you be traveling to the Mainland?
Just visiting Hong Kong. I had not ever had a chance to explore Hong kong. Hopefully, one day i will visit China. Hong Kong seems to be a great place to get visa's for China. I have seen a number of Travel companies advertising that they will assist in getting visa fr China.Starrob
