Now, I just finished eating in a Pepper Lunch today. I think this concept would really fly if brought to the USA. The company bills itself as sort of a Do it yourself Teppanyaki.

This food is really, really good.....It hands down beats most fast food concepts as far as taste in the USA, in my opinion. This restuarant is what I really miss when I am in the USA....YOU just can't get this stuff in the USA:

"Pepper Lunch (???????, Peppa-ranchi?) is a "fast-steak" restaurant franchise popular in the Tokyo area. There are over 200 restaurants in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand , Singapore , and the Philippines, as well as one branch in the United States.

Pepper Lunch is a subsidiary of Pepper Food Service Co., Ltd.[1] The restaurant's international operations are managed by Suntory F&B International.[2] All of Pepper Lunch's branches serve Pepsi beverage products (as PepsiCo is a business partner of Suntory) except in Philippine branches, which serve Coca-Cola products in their beverage line."
