well, it's july and my pepper plants are kicking a$$.

i didn't expect all of them to live, but, they did.

i planted bell, cayenne, jalapeno, and habaneros (sp?).

this will be the first time that i can peppers. any advice or good books that i should look into?

i plan on drying some peppers. i usually put them in the oven @125 F over night, then put them in the blender. works great. good for pizza and cooking.

the bells i plan on cutting into strips and freezing.

i'm going to can some of the other peppers.

oh, i want to try something new. make hot pepper oil. anyone ever do this? i use it a lot in stir frys and such. a 5 oz. bottle costs ~ $2.50 at Food Lion. i've got about 5 empty bottles to fill. it's too expensive to keep buying.
