Consider the performance of the stocks in the DJIA over the period from March 2009 (the worst of the crash) forward to the highs of Nov 2013. Which stocks, of just the Dow Jones ones have been the biggest outperformers (of DJIA or S&P 500 averages) and which have lagged. Have different sectors been strong in different years or is there a stable hierarchy? I know it's possible to do the spadework with a spreadsheet but I just wonder whether any one has already done it and has the results?
