Perhaps I've confused the issue with too much information. The question is simply whether one can use the interpolated share price to value a co-op (similar to infrequently traded corporate stock) instead of a direct appraisal.FWIW, NJ follows the federal Estate Tax rules as they existed in 2001, so I don't have to consider whether NJ has any peculiar rules regarding valuation methods.Ira
