Perhaps we need to make it easier for people to have science and faith?I won't pick on any one faith here, but instead just say that (in my opinion) faith and science are mutually exclusive. Science is the antithesis of faith. Science is based on evidence and facts. There is no place for faith.Faith, on the other hand, is belief without evidence. And it creates the difficulty that when a fact contradicts faith, what do you do? If you change your mind did you really have faith? If you don't, you're denying reality. Somehow some folks reconcile this. I really don't understand how, even when they try to explain it to me. Many just go into denial (and say science is "just a theory", or "it's a conspiracy against god", or whatever).Which is another reason I have no use for faith.I find the universe is pretty darned wondrous without it.1poorguy
