For people that develop their own apps, be it for personal use or business use, how do you get them on your IOS device?

I know many businesses have developed their own private apps for IOS, how do they sync and control their distribution?

One way is via the iOS Developer Enterprise Program.
https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/enterprise/

It runs $299 per year.

Gain access to resources that will help you develop proprietary, in-house iOS apps that you can distribute to employees.
