Phil, she reason she may have blocked that action, is for the potential of working/being on the aircraft for untold hours, all without being paid any more than per diem.

It makes it very difficult for a crew to eat, use the facilities (because honestly, who REALLY wants to use the aircraft lavatory?) and bring their "A" game back, when he/she is back to being paid to actually work the flight. It's hard on EVERYONE, Customers, and Crewmembers to unnecessarily be on a plane just to wait, and wait, and wait; but in those events with the aircraft at the gate, at least the Customers would have a choice to go to-and-from the aircraft, unlike (generally) the Crew! Just a different perspective.


F2R, and yes travel can be a TOTAL PAIN! A pox on those who make it even more aggravating!
