Talk about innovative advertising publicity seeking! One of the local undertakers invested a few bucks in some fancy "guest books" some publicity stills and large photos of Bob Hope. They then invited everyone to come into any of their locations and sign the books which will eventually be sent to the Bob Hope Museum. At least one local TV station has carried a story (free publicity) about the tribute. According to the TV report "several hundred" people have come in to pay their respects.Since the people most likely to take them up on the offer are almost as old as Bob Hope was (100) they are also giving future customers a chance to come in and get aquatinted as well.Shades of Phineas Taylor Barnham.
