Hasbro and Zynga have teamed up to release physical board game versions of Zynga's popular game apps. Someone posted this on one of the Hasbro boards this week:

The physical board game version of Words With Friends is interesting to me. This may be sacrilege to say among classic board game enthusiasts, but I play both Words With Friends and Scrabble on my iPhone, and WWF's board is much more fun to play on. My experience has been that Zynga's alternate arrangement of double/triple letter/word spaces makes for a more interesting strategic board control game. Scrabble's big X of DW spaces leads to more predictable board configurations and less competitive end games.
