I received the following in an email forward from someone I know locally who owns a fabric store. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please forward.

Calling all volunteers ~

I'm coordinating a workshop to make pillow cases to donate to the Connecticut Burns Foundation. They host a summer camp program for children, teens, etc. whose lives have been scarred and affected by burn trauma.

Jane, the owner of Fabric Bug (www.fabricbug.net) in Thomaston has very generously offered the use of her classroom (Fri-Sun) on the weekend of April 30th. I've contacted several manufacturers and hopefully we'll receive donated fabric for this wonderful cause.

We would love to have lots of people participate in this project. If you're not able to attend any part of the workshop but are able to work from home, that would be great.

I sincerely hope you are able to help us and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Please contact me directly via email or phone to say - YES - I want to help! Or please call with any questions.

Many thanks,

Diane DeHippolytis
