My father once told me to enjoy your hobbies, but its better if you can find one that can pay for itself. As a owner of 16 pinball machines, I really enjoy it and I get to watch my investments grow. Including maintenance, the price of my machines (according to E-bay) have grown about 10% a year. About the same as the stock market. The problem is the supply is drying up rapidly. I've bought a couple of beatup machines and ended up parting then out, for example I bought one machine for $200 and it was worth ove $700 parted out. I know it not a business with a good future, but I am having fun. I especially love play my machines while I figure out what to do in the stock market. Best to All.
