For those of you looking to try something new.....Pisco! Pisco is an artisinal Peruvian or Chilean Brandy (these two countries go back 100's of years fighting about who invented this wonderful Brandy, and both have towns callled Pisco) Its a clear brandy made from grapes. Those of you lucky enough to visit either of these countries has more than likely had a "Pisco Sour". 2oz Pisco, 1oz simple syrup, 3/4oz lemon or lime juice, 1 egg white and 3 drops of Angostura bitters on top. The reason i say lemon or lime is because the limes that come from there are kind of a cross between the two. Anyway, those looking to try something different should give this wonderful product a try. My preference is for the Barsol products. Quebranta is my personal favorite. Pineapple, Grapefruit, and Passionfruit juices work wonderful with Pisco, as does Ginger. Play around and if anyone has a great drink they make with it, pls pass on.
