Please get someone to represent you. It doesn't cost you more.

IP,

I didn't originally get my own agent, because after months of following the listings, I thought I really wanted this one house. And, time was of the essence as I thought I had some tenants ready to move in. Now, however, the tenants won't be able to move in as quickly (if at all), so it doesn't matter. I originally called just the listing agent, thinking I could just negotiate the one sale. Looks like I'll be taking more time, and I'll also take your advice.

Question: If the agent who is the listing agent on one house, shows me another house, can s/he act as my agent on the property on which she does not have the listing?

Thanks, all - I thought I knew a lot of this stuff, but I'm learning,

Rita
