I'll post this here first, before I try some other boards that are more active. Does anyone here use point & figure charts. I've just rediscovered them after about 15 years. I remember fooling around with them back in my teens but never really did anything with them. Do you find them useful? What are some of the disadvantages over the more regularly used charts?

thanks
Jerry

Hi Jerry,

I'll post this here first, before I try some other boards that are more active. Does anyone here use point & figure charts. I've just rediscovered them after about 15 years. I use them, but not religiously. I find them helpful in identifying support/resistance levels and general chart patterns. I prefer "normal" charts for the details (entries/exits, etc.).

One of the bloggers I subscribe to just started a series on P&F charting,

He'll probably be posting more on the subject, so check back on the home page (the above links just take you to those specific articles). StockCharts.com Chart School has info on P&F's too.

Thanks Tim

Not a technical trader, but I'm trying to learn more to help with entry points.
