I am not sure I understand the question. If a stock drops below the 200 day moving average, that is technically a warning sign. Then it becomes a question of whether the stock recovers to above the 200 day MA line, which is positive, or continues to trade below it - that is negative.

I state this, but I do not use technical analysis of stock price movements very much in any of my investment decision processes.
