My parents just sold their business for a descent sum (1.5 mil after taxes) and now need to invest it to live on. They are ~60 yrs old with little debt. Any suggestions for asset allocation. I was thinking 40%
S&P 500 Index Fund, 20% Blue Chips, 20% Bonds, 20% Money Market/ST Bonds. And any suggestions on short term money market/bond funds?
