Some days it just doesn't come together and Sunday was one of them. But, I finished and I had fun. Multiple issues through the race slowed me down a lot. My favorite sign on the course was "This is an AWESOME parade!" held by some teenagers at about the 19-20 mile mark. I need to give some thought to the problems and decide if there was something I could have done differently, or if it was just one of those days. Next time, I think I will just run into the person who stopped directly in front of me at mile 25.5. Instead, I sidestepped, hit some loose gravel on a slight slope and ended up falling. No injury, but it was hard getting back up to finish.
