Hi all -
My wife and I getting a puppy in late Jan/early Feb, and it's going to be our first pet together. (I had dogs when young, but my wife is completely new to pets.) It's going to be a male German Shepherd from a responsible breeder. It'll be eight weeks old and have already started training and its shots. I was wondering if folks could offer advice on how to prepare a house for puppy. Here's what we have planned so:

o Get a seperate tub put in the garage for doggie baths
o Get crates for the first and second floor of our house, so the dog is around people even when in his crate
o Get some fencing for the backyard to allow the dog to have some space to run free

Any suggestions or words of advice would be appreciated.

Later,
Marc
