I ran a frequency function on the same, 244 purchases discussed in a previous post.
Roughly one-quarter were done at a premium to par, an eighth at par, half at modest discounts to par, and another eighth at deep discounts. Another way to look at the groupings is this. 58% (or close enough to two-thirds of the purchases) were done at 100, +5/-10.
But I pay what it makes sense to pay and don't worry about price.
