The Fool: Is there someone to whom you'd like to say 'Thank You,' but never had the chance?
Dani25: Well, I owe my mother a big thank you for her unconditional love & support (get the hankies out), but I can & do have the chance. So instead, I'll choose someone who I have never & probably will never meet - Carol Burnett. As a child, her comedy show was one of the bright spots of my week. I'm a struggling actress (aren't we all?) and her show inspired my deep love & respect for all things funny. Thanks, Carol (like she's reading this - right.).
The Fool: What other financial products or services do you use?
Dani25: Ummm...let's see. There are sooo many... well, ok, it's the bank. How embarrassing. I'm just starting out on my Foolish quest - welcome to adulthood!

UPDATE - I now have an account with a discount brokerage and have my very own IRA - complete with stocks and an index fund! I am also now starting a Simple IRA in a sucky mutual fund company chosen by my boss. Woo hoooooo!!
The Fool: Make a confession.
Dani25: I sucked my thumb until I was 12 years old... yeesh this is embarrassing! Ok, here's another... during the January 1999 blizzard in Chicago many people put chairs, ironing boards, Sit-N-Spins (?!), etc. out on the street against the curb to reserve the parking spaces that they had shoveled out - as if that's legal. I could deal with that, but 3 weeks later when all of the snow was melted and it was still happening, I got even. At 3:30 in the morning after a night out, I went down the block, grabbed up about 7 of the lawn chairs against the curb & deposited them in a trash can in another alley. Problem solved. Hee hee!
The Fool: Describe your fitness program.
Dani25: Liposuction annually.... Ok, I try to run 4 miles 5 times a week and then lift free weights 3 times a week. When the weather is bad, I get on the "treadmill leading to nowhere" for 45 to 50 minutes. Excercise helps my mental state and stress level tremendously. I am seriously considering checking out Yoga.
The Fool: Tell us about Your Dumbest Investment... and the lesson you learned from it.
Dani25: Keeping my money in my bank's savings account at 1.4% interest... 'nuff said.
The Fool: What's your greatest athletic achievement? Little League champ? Ran a marathon? Did 4 consecutive sit-ups?
Dani25: My freshman year in college, I played in the dorm softball league. We won and went on to play the sororities. Our first game (and last, since we lost & were eliminated) was brutal. The frat guys who came to support their soroity sisters were merciless in their very personal heckling. The upshot is that due to a bobbled ball by one of the sorority girls, I decided to steal home. They made a throw to the plate and the catcher caught it and was ready for the tag. I slid in - aiming for, and hitting, her ankles. She flew up in the air, did a beautiful front flip, and landed on her back (safely away from me). The ball flew out of her glove in the process, and..... SCORE, SCORE, SCORE!!!
The Fool: List some of your favorite websites, with running commentary where appropriate. (Please provide the URLs, too.)
Dani25: I must say quite honestly that this site is hands down my favorite.
