The Fool: What's your greatest athletic achievement? Little League champ? Ran a marathon? Did 4 consecutive sit-ups?
PrettyFoolish: Hit a Grand Slam in co-ed softball that left a lot of guys dazed and confused.
The Fool: Did you ever do something as a child that you look back on now and say, 'Wow, I'm lucky even to be alive after that!'
PrettyFoolish: Jumped off a sailboat with three other kids to go swimming and the boat sailed away from us all. For someone who had a hard time swimming a whole pool length, I somehow managed to swim over a quarter of a mile safely back to shore.
The Fool: As you were growing up (or now, raising children), did your family have any distinctive rituals or practices others might do well to emulate?
PrettyFoolish: I had a brother who licked his plate and utensils everynight before dinner to reserve his spot at the table (he didn't like sitting next to our dad).
The Fool: If you could be any comic book superhero, which would you be and why?
PrettyFoolish: Wonder Woman, because I don't read comic books and I don't know of any others.
The Fool: Share with us your best money-saving secret -- cutting coupons, sneaking candy into the movies, shopping on Wednesday and pretending you're over 65?
PrettyFoolish: Best way to save money is to pack your own lunch instead of eating out at restaurants every day. Now if I could only actually do this, it'd be great!
The Fool: Describe your fitness program.
PrettyFoolish: What fitness program???
The Fool: What's been your best investment to date and how did you discover it?
PrettyFoolish: Although it was only on paper, I would have to say BYND. I bought it at $6 a month or so ago and now it's around $26. I came across it by accident when I was doing a comparison for another stock I had picked with a dart.
The Fool: Do you have a favorite company or stock which the worldwide Foolish community should know about -- and why?
PrettyFoolish: Not at the moment, but when I do you'll be the first to know.
The Fool: List some of your favorite websites, with running commentary where appropriate. (Please provide the URLs, too.)
PrettyFoolish: The fool.com is my favorite. I tell all my friends about it every chance I get. I also like www.vectorvest.com for free stock analysis, but would like to know if there is something better out there.
The best place I found so far for links to just about everything you could possibly need for investing is www.stockpickers.net.
