The Fool: What's the best restaurant you've ever been to? (Include name, location, and average bill for two.)
muhammad: Well, its a small place called Fornos of Spain in Newark, NJ. It's a small spanish cuisine spot in the Spanish and Portugese part of the city. The average bill for two is about $45. I highly recommend the Veal Sisciliana (I don't think I spelled that right...)I guarantee that you'll have a hard time finishing the meal!
The Fool: If you had to pick an existing song title that best describes your life, what would it be?
muhammad: The one song that has muhammad written all over it is "In a Sentimental Mood" by John Coltrane and Duke Ellington.
The Fool: What's your biggest pet peeve?
muhammad: People who don't keep they're word. In this world, there are few things of notable worth and one of them is your integrity. If your word is worthless, there isn't much else worth paying attention to.
The Fool: If you could go back in time and witness one event in history, what would you go back and see?
muhammad: I would like to witness the entire career of Muhammad Ali from the very beginning. I think there's a lot to learn from rare, pure-blooded champions like him.
The Fool: What's your favorite Fool message board?
muhammad: Sorry, I haven't had a chance to check many out yet. I promise to get back to you on this one.....
The Fool: Share with us your best money-saving secret -- cutting coupons, sneaking candy into the movies, shopping on Wednesday and pretending you're over 65?
muhammad: I shoudn't be saying this, but I tend to switch long distance companies often. Usually when I switch on AT&T, they send me a $100 check towards my phone bill and offer me great discounts. Once, they gave $100 and gave me 50% off my long distance for six months - just for telling MCI that I would switch (for the whole of 3 weeks)!
The Fool: Your most heroic moment in life?
muhammad: I don't know. I tend to do what I can for those who need help and guidance. Being a resident and product of the inner city, I believe that it is important to give back to help those who would like to change their lives through education and goal setting activities like investing. You can say that I'm taking advantage of the fool with hopes of possibly "sharing the wealth."
The Fool: What's been your best investment to date and how did you discover it?
muhammad: The best investment I have made thus far is in myself via my education. I have a B.A. and an M.B.A. from New York University. I supported myself through college and grad school and I seek to obtain my CPA and CFA in the near future.
The Fool: Do you have a favorite company or stock which the worldwide Foolish community should know about -- and why?
muhammad: I'm trying to get my knowledge up to par to help me to find a "sleeper", a stock that is not in the media highlight but has solid earning prospects. When I do, I'll definitely spread the word.
The Fool: List some of your favorite websites, with running commentary where appropriate. (Please provide the URLs, too.)
muhammad: I really don't surf the net much. Sorry.
