The Fool: Given a second chance, what financial decision would you like to alter?
thefrasers: The money I put on the Lions beating Australia.
The Fool: If you had had the budget for the millennium dome on what would you have spent it?
thefrasers: Beer. Lots of it.
And a curry.
The Fool: Does 'ethical investing' have a place in your investment approach? How so? How not?
thefrasers: Absolutely.
It would be unethical of me to allow others to have to look after me in my retirement. So as to save the state from this burden, it is my moral duty to make a shedload of money from my investments. I have been searching for a company specialising in providing armaments, alcohol and cigarettes for the White Slave Trade as I understand the earnings potential is huge. However the only one I found turned out to reject the use of animal testing - without a rigorous approach to R&D I'm afraid I'm not interested....
The Fool: What's one of your special talents?
thefrasers: Brevity.
The Fool: Okay you have been asked onto Desert Island Discs what 8 records, one book and a luxury item do you take with you?
thefrasers: 8 records? Without a record player? What I'd really like is just one record - the record for the longest ever Ocean swim....
One book - "How to build an Ocean-going Liner using only Balsa, string, and bodily waste"
Luxury Item - inflatable doll (with puncture repair outfit)
The Fool: What technology would you un-invent if you could save the world from it?
thefrasers: Bagpipes
The Fool: Describe your fitness programme.
thefrasers: Take gym bag to work.
Eat breakfast (bacon sandwich, coffee, orange juice, Mars Bar....).
Eat elevenses (more coffee, chocolate biscuits).
Feel too queasy to go to gym so eat lunch instead.
Afternoon coffee and biscuits.
Don't go to gym after work because I have rugby training. Take gym bag home.
Arrive home. Get rugby kit together. Notice it's cold and wet, and/or declare sudden interest in spending quality time with my family. Put away rugby kit.
Eat dinner plus wine and beer.
Switch on TV or play computer games.
ZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Wake up and repeat process until arteries harden....
The Fool: What's your greatest athletic achievement? Little League champ? Ran a marathon? Did 4 consecutive sit-ups?
thefrasers: Last 5 minutes of a cup game at rugby, score is 12 all....we have a 22 drop-out..as prop I lumber behind our second rows...everyone misses the ball and it bounces into my hands at the touchline...I run up the touchline...at the halfway their winger bounces into and off me looking to bump me into touch...I do a little tap dance millimetres inside the line...regain my balance and keep running...full back comes storming across...I step inside him at the 22 and head for the line... opposition back-row get to me with a few yards to go BUT ITS TOO LATE as I crash over to score. We win the game.
All of it absolutely true, cross my heart and hope to die.
The Fool: If you had to pick an existing song title that best describes your life, what would it be?
thefrasers: "Pretty Vacant"
The Fool: What technology do you wish the world had but doesn't yet?
thefrasers: The orgasmotron from the film "Barbarella"
The Fool: If you could go back in time and witness one event in history, what would you go back and see?
thefrasers: Paul Robeson singing.

thefrasers: "Level 42", Sydney, Australia. Converted from Alan Bond's penthouse after they caught him with his fingers in the till.
A$150 (about 60) will get you a sumptuous meal for two, as well as one of the most incredible views of Sydney harbour available.
