The Fool: Share with us your best money-saving secret. Do you cut coupons? Bring your own candy bars to movies? Shop on Wednesday and pretend you're over 65?
tmfpixy: I never spend it. When bills arrive, I cross out my name, write in "Department of Defense" and forward them to the Pentagon. Someone there subjects them to an extensive audit process and then pays them. This procedure has worked like a charm for the past 25 years.
The Fool: Tell us about your greatest personal success, not necessarily finance related.
tmfpixy: I once won an argument with my spouse.
The Fool: What's your greatest athletic achievement? Little League champ? Ran a marathon? Did 4 consecutive sit-ups?
tmfpixy: Wiggling my ears while standing on my head.
The Fool: Make a confession.
tmfpixy: Although Ralph got blamed, I was the one who really put the whoopee cushion in Mrs. Barnes' chair when we were in the third grade.
The Fool: Have you had a brush with fame, the proverbial '15 minutes'? Tell us about it.
tmfpixy: The back of my head was clearly visible in a late night local newscast of a regional chapter meeting of the Mushroom Growers Association of America.
The Fool: Write a poem for us about something financial (no Nantucket references):
tmfpixy: A pretty young maiden from school
Told a young man who thought it was cool
To buy on the blips and sell on the dips
That he failed at being a Fool.
The Fool: Does ethics or 'socially responsible investing' have a place in your investment approach? How or why?
tmfpixy: Generally speaking, ethics or "socially responsible investing" is a duty, and a duty is something we usually expect of others.

tmfpixy: You mean there are other websites besides The Motley Fool? Imagine that!
The Fool: Tell us what your best investment has been so far and how you discovered it.
tmfpixy: My best investment is my spouse, which I discovered after she told me so in no uncertain terms on the day we were wed. Her value has been verified as fact many times since.
The Fool: When you aren't working or sitting in front of the computer, what occupies your time?
tmfpixy: I watch my extensive video collection of "Gilligan's Island," "I Love Lucy," and "The Partridge Family" to gain an understanding of the interpersonal dynamics, empowerment, and team conceptualization of the family paradigm.
