The Fool: Which celebrity or public figure (past or present) do you most look like?
tmftaxes: John Candy
The Fool: What's the one thing you'd MOST like to see The Motley Fool add to our service or improve upon?
tmftaxes: A bigger and better tax area (OK...call me selfish, but it could be a GREAT area)!!
The Fool: When you aren't working or sitting in front of the computer, what occupies your time?
tmftaxes: Camping, fishing, scuba diving, volleyball, golf, sports in general, and girlie shows.
The Fool: Tell us about Your Dumbest Investment... and the lesson you learned from it.
tmftaxes: Trying to time the market on a certain stock...RIDE snowboards. It dropped...I got scared...sold. It immediately recovered. I bought. Then it dipped again. I sold. Again, it recovered...I bought back in again. After all was said and done, the stock was basically back at the point where it started, but I was thousands of dollars poorer. Not to mention that all of my trading fell under the wash sale rules, which limited my losses until I finally sold out my position. Believe me...I learned my lesson.
The Fool: What's been your best investment to date and how did you discover it?
tmftaxes: Iomega...by far. Discovered in the Motley Fool area, even before it was purchased by the Fools in their portfolio.
The Fool: Do you have a favorite company or stock which the worldwide Foolish community should know about -- and why?
tmftaxes: I try not to get emotionally involved in my stocks or investments. So I guess I would have to say no.
