Hello, does anyone know if it is legal to defer buisness profit from 2003 into 2004. I'm showing a large profit in 03 and don't think I'll have much in 04. Sabatree

There are ways to do that, but the legal ones need to be planned for during 2003. Once the year is over, planning options are severely restricted.
