I always read your posts and often rec them, but I am curious about your statement on getting wrong returns. I have done TurboTax. For many years and have never had my returns questioned by something TurboTax has done.

I have been questioned by TurboTax for mistakes I made and once on a mistake the IRS made (actually two on one thing) which was resolved in seven months by the Tax Payers Advocacy Office. I learned about this office on this board. TurboBoTax also has suggestion on lowering your taxes.

Years ago when I had complicated items, I did first on TurboTax and a pro who gave me a 10% discount for doing it first on TurboTax. On these complicated accounts, he did find some reductions but that was many years ago. It is much easier now to do things like K-1s on TurboTax than it was then. I also had some private partnerships then.

I am doing this on my iPad that I got for Christmas and am not yet fully familiar with it.
