PucksFool asks,

... going to rebuild private beaches?

Growing up in a State (Connecticut) where only 3 miles of its 125 mile coast line is open to the public (the remainder is reserved for the use of wealthy plutocrats), I'm outraged by it.

There was a young man in our neighborhood (Ned Coll) who was a Catholic activist for racial equality. Ned's specialty was rounding up a couple of busloads of black and hispanic kids, driving them to Connecticut's Gold Coast, putting them in one of those rubber boats that the Marines use for beach landings, and capturing the encounter on film.

It always made for an entertaining segment on the evening news.
