Puffcorn Caramel (or Caramel Puff Popcorn)

One of our vendors used to bring us a big container of this every year at Christmas and I finally asked her if she would share the recipe. I thought it must be some special secret recipe but Ha Ha - the recipe she used is on this link and is also on the back of this hulless popcorn bag:

This is something easy to make and everyone seems to love. It just melts in your mouth, very addictive. You make it with hulless popcorn, butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and baking soda. I only make this at Christmas time for the same reason as Phil. <G>

It is really delicious as is but this weekend I'm going to try adding a little vanilla, a pinch of salt and maybe some nuts to the recipe.

I'm hoping to find time to make some Spritz cookies this weekend too.
