Hello Fools!

There seem to be many questions about the purpose of this message board. Since Investment Club boards are opened at the request of our members, I'm afraid I can't answer that question. Perhaps someone was hoping to get a club going, or just wanted to find out if others are involved in successful clubs.

So... let me attempt to encompass the different things that you've expressed an interest about:

We have several active boards for various investment clubs here and you might check out a few to see if any of them hold interest for you:

For those looking for clubs in their geographic area, check out the message board for your home state here:

If you're looking for general conversation about investing, saving for retirement, family finances, and myriad other topics, then check out the Women & Investing Board, which boasts one of the liveliest discussion groups on the Fool. (Note: It's not just for women, either!)

And finally, for those who expressed an interest in seminars, check out my next post!
