Down 8% or so, with no company-specific news out.

After digging around a bit (Google Finance seems to be better at picking up some news than Yahoo!), it seems that Satcon Technology, a rival inverter maker, filed for bankruptcy last night and when the news broke around lunch time, Power-One's stock price dropped. http://247wallst.com/2012/10/18/another-solar-company-bites-... Probably from the belief that if one inverter maker cannot make it, others cannot as well. Strange thing, though. Enphase (another competitor, ENPH) isn't down at all. Given that it raised Q3 revenue guidance last July, I really don't think that bankruptcy is in Power-One's future.

Power-One reports earnings next Thursday, Oct 25, after the market closes.
